Welcome to the Azure Blog. We are so thrilled to be launching this creative space and to have you be a part of it. Our mission with this blog is simple; to create a carefully thought out place where we can explore design, it’s impact on the way we live, and dream a little throughout it all.
We believe that the designed environments in which we live directly correlates to how we live our lives. Design takes shape in so many different forms; be it architecture, interior design, industrial design, decorating, products and technology, urban planning… everything about our physical environment is designed in one way or another.
There is no doubt whatever about the influence of architecture and structure upon human character and action. We make our buildings and afterwards they make us. They regulate the course of our lives.
– Winston Churchill addressing the English Architectural Association, 1924.
Almost a century later, Churchill’s words couldn’t ring more true. Design greatly influences and touches almost every aspect of our lives, whether we notice it outright or not. Design definitely strives to be beautiful, but it’s more than just about aesthetics. The primary goal of design is to improve us and the way we live by striving to also be efficient, useful and resourceful. It has the ability to change our lives, often for the better. We develop affections towards products, structures and spaces that are thoughtfully designed. They enlist a feeling of comfort, attachment and belonging within us because good design is seductive, and sometimes even iconic. And as the world’s cities continue to become ever more densely populated, the role of smart design within our urbanizing societies will become that much more important over the coming years.
Within this blog you’ll also be able to take a front seat throughout the entire construction process of The Azure condo development. Our motto is “Live Life Beautifully” and throughout this carefully curated space we want to showcase design trends from around the world and how good design influences our lives, solves problems and even improves the way we live.
